PITCH'09 is an annual Advertising, Public Relations & Marketing Communications Conference & Competition organised by the School of Film & Media Studies (FMS), Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The event first started in 2006 and since then, has been helmed by final-year Mass Communication (MCM) students taking the Conventions and Exhibitions elective module.
The Organisers:
The School of Film & Media Studies (FMS) was established in 1989. It was the first tertiary institution in Singapore to offer a full-time Diploma in Mass Communication (MCM). FMS has played the pioneering role in training media professionals. Today, it remains one of Singapore's premier academic institutions for media education, is highly regarded in both local and global arenas and continues to groom countless talents for the industry. It currently offers four courses namely, Diploma in Mass Communication (MCM), Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations, Diploma in Film, Sound & Video (FSV) and Diploma in Digital Visual Effects (DVFX).
